...Base, you ARE to blame for this! Heaps over! LOL!
Ever since I started sketching his commission, I've been overrun by ideas for CUTE LOVE KIDDIES OMG
* Radcliffe & Idi have ended up with still-unnamed twin girls
* I'm thinking maybe Slipshod & Friidah should get together and have a kid (a boy, oh gods XD)
* I'm seriously giving thought to Vee-Jay having a third child in the Chronicles (another girl, ohshi---)
* I'm going back on The CCC (Cosmopolis City Cats) and rewriting/updating a whole boatload of stuff there (especially the future kids of the Prince & Princess, OY...)
* AND to cap it off, I've been randomly sketching Jayden being sweet and adorable AND "innocent". "How" innocent is a different story altogether ROFL
I hate whiny little brats irl, but am always into TEH CUTENESS of a father and daughter walking to school.
I am overflowing with personal IRONY here!

Here's a link to one of them.

I am a Chicken Snatcher...So keep a close eye on your poultry...
I just had a question, an artistic one if you will, that I want to ask, if that's alright with you.
Do you use shapes or any kind of reference in any of your artwork? Or do you simply draw freehand?

And don't think that skill came easily, hon. It took me about fifteen or so years before I felt confident enough to start sketching in pen

What I think, I create.
What I create, I draw.
What I draw, I love.
What I love, is everything to me.
I prefer creativity, originality, dynamics and sassiness over cut and paste and paintfill and trace.
I learn from honest critique. Do you?
Hmmm, mind if I ask another question? If that's alright that is, don't wish to bug you too much.
What's the first thing you draw on a character? Or...does it defer depending on what is it that you're drawing?

That's reminiscent of my old Sonic fandom days. I found it easiest to frame the facial expression by drawing the nose/muzzle/eyes first.

To be honest, I don't have a clue in which style to choose from, Original Sonic style, or another...I love your style but I don't want to "steal" it and call it my own, you know?
But I do sometimes base some of my little sketches and such from yours, all credit of course goes to you.
